MEET DUAYNE & TIFFINY
OUR HISTORY: Duayne is originally from Sherman Oaks, California and Tiffiny is from Laguna Beach, California. After tying the knot in 2003, their shared passion for food, wine and the Southern California lifestyle, led them to Temecula Valley Wine Country.
They settled down on a unique 5-acre parcel of land that included two small houses. For extra income to supplement Duayne’s real estate business and Tiffiny’s job as an elementary schoolteacher, they began renting out one of the houses as a private retreat for weekend wine-tasters. Both Duayne and Tiffiny instantly found they had a knack for hosting and soon guests began asking for more of their services.
An amateur gourmet chef, Tiffiny began preparing wine-pairing dinners for guests celebrating engagements, birthdays and anniversaries. It wasn’t long before requests to host weddings and other special events came pouring in and a shift was made to develop the property as a venue.
Duayne and Tiffiny recognized this as an opportunity to take their passion, and make it their life. A dream was born to create a business they loved, where they could work, live and raise a family together, all in one place. Knowing they had the vision and the talent to do so, the dice were rolled to take a small Mom-and-Pop retreat and turn it into Villa Oliva Vineyards, a premier Estate Resort.
DUAYNE: Duayne is currently studying Enology, Viticulture and the Winemaking Business at the University of California, Davis. This past summer, he was fortunate to be one of forty students selected to attend the Organization International de La Vigne et du Vin (OIV) Program. Guest Lecturers included top leaders in the American wine industry and covered topics such as Regulation and Production, Brand Establishment and Management, Channels of Distribution, Retail Sales, and Wine Law. Small Vineyard Management courses focused on pruning, insects, diseases and erosion control.
A Realtor in both, Los Angeles and Temecula, Duayne has always had a
passion for real estate and development. His keen ability to foresee a property’s developmental potential has enabled him to make wise investments for both his clients and himself.
As Developer of the Villa Oliva Vineyards project, Duayne has played an integral role in every aspect from design and engineering to farming and landscaping. He has been the entrepreneur, the CEO, the investor and the accountant. His leadership skills have assembled an artistic team of masterfully-skilled architects, contractors, interior designers and landscape designers, dedicated to seeing Villa Oliva Vineyards come to fruition.
This Harvest, Duayne is adding wine-maker to his resume. With vineyards yielding 2 tons of Cabernet Franc grapes, this “first crush” will yield about 100 cases of wine.Looking towards the future, Duayne aspires to go beyond his personal projects, to become a major developer of the Southern California Wine Country region. Service as a board member or even in a local political position is certainly on the horizon.

Over the last five years in the valley, Duayne has had the opportunity to form close working relationships with many of his Wine Country neighbors including Wilson Creek Winery, Oak Mountain and Temecula Hills Wineries, The GrapeLine, wine country shuttle service, The Grape Escape, hot-air tours, The Forge, catering service and Stage Ranch, farm management. He has also been affiliated with the TV Chamber of Commerce, TVCVB and attended meetings and hearings for the Temecula Winegrowers Association and Riverside County Planning Commission. Duayne also attends local charity functions which contribute to organizations such as the Boy Scouts of America.
In his personal life, Duayne relishes opportunities to travel and often draws on his experiences for inspiration. He likes to play tennis and basketball and keeps a civil rivalry going on with a few other businessmen in town. At the end of the day, it is the simple pleasure of taking his one-year-old son, Dylan, on a stroll through the vineyards to eat some grapes and enjoying a glass of wine with his wife, Tiffiny, that he enjoys most.
TIFFINY: Tiffiny earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from California State University of Fullerton in 1999 as well as a multiple-subject Teaching Credential, shortly thereafter. Her Broadcast Journalism degree led her to multiple internships in television including the Orange County News channel (OCN) and The Morning Show at channel 7 E
yewitness News in Los Angeles. Ultimately, Tiffiny decided to follow her mother’s footstep into a career as an elementary school teacher and served in the Capistrano, Los Angeles and Temecula Unified School Districts. Currently, Tiffiny is a work-at-home Mom, balancing time with her son, Dylan, with the development of Villa Oliva Vineyards.
Tiffiny is a real estate enthusiast, like her husband Duayne, and holds a California Real Estate license.
Tiffiny is also a food & wine enthusiast and will earn a Gourmet Chef certificate in Spring 2009 from the Laguna Beach Culinary Institute.
As the Estate Hostess of Webster Americano Vacation Villas and Vineyard, the guest retreat business she owned and operated with her husband, Tiffiny handled all reservations and guest relations. Other duties included acting as a personal chef on occasion; special event coordination and wedding coordination. Tiffiny’s eye for design and layout as well as her ability to organize and add personal, detailed touches allows her to create “extraordinary, memorable experiences” for her guests.
As a writer, Tiffiny wrote and designed the company website for Webster Americano. She collaborated with a Web Development company to implement her vision and develop an administrative system that would allow her to access and edit site content. Tiffiny wrote the Villa Oliva Vineyards Business Plan and will resume her responsibilities of website and logo development for this project as well.
Tiffiny supports local charities and handled all donation requests and responses for Webster Americano, donating generously when possible. Tiffiny attends many charity fundraisers benefiting such organizations as the YMCA and The Boys and Girls Club, She and Duayne have both volunteered their time at the Temecula Balloon and Wine Festival. Tiffiny enjoys giving back to the community and looks forward to representing Villa Oliva by sitting on the board of future TVCVB and Wine Country events.
Her personal interests include digital photography, reading recipes and cooking, of course! She aspires to one day write a cookbook and teach Italian cooking classes; and she may perhaps write a children’s book. Tiffiny enjoys fashion and hopes to incorporate a boutique into a future project. Above all, she loves to spend time at home with her family.
OUR FAMILY: Duayne and Tiffiny have been married for five years and have a one-y
ear-old son, Dylan. They enjoy spending time in the kitchen and going to places like the zoo or the beach, together as a family. The Webster’s just returned from a road trip to Monterey where they toured the Paraiso and Bernardus wineries in the Santa Lucia region and spent an adventurous day exploring the world-famous aquarium.
Duayne and Tiffiny look forward to the development of Villa Oliva Vineyards and hope to see both their business and family grow in the near future!
